Economic Leadership

Economic leadership plays a key role in sustainable economic development in growth as it involves and providing opportunities for all community's reducing economic inequality in our neighborhoods. A leader who makes the hard policy decisions that are for the good of the entire city, even if means taking something away from those with a vested interest to benefit and serve all the citizens of Mobile. A willing leader standing by, listening attentively and openly to the concerns of all, representing their interests in creating a better Mobile, one that will make every effort to improve the quality of life and opportunity for community development, economic growth, and prosperity for all residents and their generational history preserved. The City of Mobile will be the best place to reside, raise a family and do business. Diversity and inclusion must be facilitated with persistent efforts to be properly integrated into the process of economic livelihood. 

Economic development is a qualitative concept. When we understand that economic development means different things to different people. Economic development is more than a Job program, it's an investment in growing the economy and enhancing the prosperity and quality of life for all residents in each district, every neighborhood, and throughout the entire city. This is a diverse city a thriving population virtually from every continent and nation under heaven. This blending of experiences and unique perspectives is good, which increases the potential growth in every area. This city has long encouraged development through the judicious use of financial incentive tools, that worked to improve the economic well-being and quality of life for some neighborhoods but not all.

Economic growth is a concept in the creation of wealth from which a community can benefit. Sustained economic growth can provide sufficient incomes for local business and profitable opportunities for employers, and tax revenues for maintaining an infrastructure to support this continued growth. Continual sustainable economic growth is also the single most important way to reduce poverty, by closing the gender gap for woman being single parents, will give them equal access to financial services not only unlocks economic potential growth, but also gives women a say in their own financial decisions. Growth-promoting policies should be established that allow the poor to participate fully in the opportunities unleashed and so contribute to that growth. Growth helps people move out of poverty. This includes policies to make labor markets work better, by removing gender inequalities and increase complete financial inclusion means that individuals and businesses have access to useful and affordable financial products and services that meet their needs.

Community development is a process where community members are supported and identified to take collective action on issues which are important to them by empowering each community member and creating stronger and more connected relationship with each member. Fundamentally based on the values of humans rights, social justice, equality, and respect for diversity. We as self-determined people have the right to make our own choices and decisions. This process for making a community a better place to live and work, is on all of us;  benefits are created. Having a sense of pride can make us feel as though we are apart of something greater than ourselves. it can give us the opportunities to connect with people and make us feel safe and secure. The true benefits automatically include the reduction of criminal activity, social-cultural enhancement with educational and training advancement that entitles all citizens. However, opportunities are not.
